The intervention represents a renewal of the existing pumping station, located at the mouth of the Coghinas river, to defend the coast of the Badesi city.
The machines are activated automatically whenever the river conditions don’t allow the natural runoff of the drains.
Particular notes
The intervention concerned in particular the reconstruction of the pumps, the sluice gates for the natural drainage and all the electrical systems.
The new fully automatic control system normally provide the natural outflow of the drainage channel through the sluice gates and, if necessary, the intervention of the mechanized drainage pumps. All supervised by the remote control center.
