The new pumps, installed to replace the previous ones, have been built in such a way to be perfectly interchangeable, without having to make any changes to the existing structures, but with new technologies, able to guarantee a longer life and at the same time less maintenance.

The intervention represents a renewal of the existing pumping station, located at the mouth of the Coghinas river, to defend the coast of the Valledoria city.

The machines are activated automatically whenever the river conditions don’t allow the natural runoff of the drains.
