Particular notes

The hydroelectric power plant is part of the envisaged project interventions to complete the water supply line coming from the reservoirs of Genzano and Acerenza and from the Trevigno crossroads, including a first section of irrigation distribution in district B in the Vulture Alto Bradano Reclamation Consortium.
The project involves the realization of:
- a divider with attached piezometric tower at the Genzano reservoir;
- a pressurized hydraulic tunnel with a diameter of 3,200 mm long about 4 km with a maximum capacity of 10.8 mc/sec, which represents the most important work;
- an hydraulic disconnection tank, at the end of the tunnel, with an annexed piezometric tower;
- a guard house;
- adduction pipelines to the 3 compensation tanks of the total volume of 104,000 cubic meters for the sectors B1, B2-B3, B4 of the irrigation area to be served;
- irrigation distribution networks covering a total area of 4,584 ha;
- remote control system.
