The anti-flooding pumping station in Berbenno di Valtellina has been tested
The pumping station, necessary to defend the town of Berbenno di Valtellina, was tested today.
The pumping plant was built in a very delicate area, at the confluence between Adda river and the Finale stream, subject to flooding.
The purpose of the new pumping plant, consisting of two electric pumps of 2,000 l/s each, is to defend the town of Berbenno from the floods that are usually caused by the floods of the Adda river.
